The Facts About Free Trial Health Supplements On The Web
I witnessed a chat today at work and it sort of agitated me, so I thought I would write about it to communicate my opinions. The conversation was going on between two other women and they were discussing the free trial vitamin supplements found on the web. One girl, Mary, had just got her free bottle of a resveratrol product sent to her house and was happy about it and was sharing the news with another girl Stephanie. Stephanie instantly began telling Mary she had been taken advantage of, and how the overall free trial thing on the web is a cheat and how nothing is free, how her Master card was going to be billed over and over and there is likely nothing she will be able to do about it. Blah blah blah. Mary went from highly excited to very sad but she really need not feel that way. I’ll tell you why.
I myself get free products from the web all the time. I have received trials of acai berry products, resveratrol products, colonic cleanse products, acai with green tea, you name it, I likely used it or still use it. Was I taken advantage of? Not even close. So, what’s all this discussion about being tricked and the way the products aren’t truly free, or whether they even work or not?
I will try to answer these questions one at a time. Are the products actually free? Not entirely, but for the most part, yes. You see, you get a trial bottle of the product, whether it be a fourteen day trial, 30 day trial, whichever. But, you have to pay for the freight. Usually less than 9 dollars. Here’s where the original cost comes in. So why do they charge freight and give the product free? Well, a lot of folks will not try something if they are not sure if it will work, but if they do not have much to lose, they would give it a try. The company’s know this, which is the reason why they give you the first bottle free. They ask for a card number to pay the shipping because they are confident about their products and they want you to stay as a consumer, so the fine print is they will charge your card again after 30 days and send you a new bottle. If you do not want to be charged because the supplement did not work for you, and it may not work because everybody is unique, everyone is unique, than just call the toll free number to cancel it. It’s as straightforward as that. And you will not be billed again. I have done this time and again without hassle and I pay close attention to my Mastercard statement and have seen no funny business going on.
You see, providing something for no cost up front, asking for a credit card to pay shipping, and billing monthly is a great business model. It works, that’s the reason why these companies do it. They know what works and they want to earn money. I don’t believe that any of them are looking to sting anyone or they would not be in business long. Almost all of the clients enjoy the product and see results so the company knows they’ll recoup the expenses of offering something free. And I am sure they get a decent profit margin so it doesn’t take them long.
Now, using famous celebs to assist with promotion is a bit underhanded I admit, but that has been going on for a long time. Watch any commercial and see if you are unable to spot a celeb. And do you believe they use the product being publicized. I doubt it. They just get paid well as a spokesperson. Those kinds of promotions online are being tightened up on so you probably won’t see much of that anymore anyways.
As for the safety of the products, I personally only bother with super foods or products that are natural. I do not look for weight control products with chemicals and other crap. I am getting products that contribute to well being, not ones which make me unhealthy. In the case of acai, I will be getting very powerful antioxidants to keep the free radicals at bay. For colonic cleansing products, I will be getting help ridding my body of waste and losing pounds in the process.
Well, that’s my time. Hope I cleared up any confusion and that you feel more secure about any free trial offers available on line.
I am a proud user of free trial health vitamin supplements on the Internet. The thing is, I don’t wish to spend funds on something that doesn’t work for my body type, so I am happy I am offered an inexpensive test price (the shipping). Although I can’t attest for all free trial offers on the Internet, here are a couple I have been successful with: Acai Berry Supplement, Resveratrol Review and Colon Cleanse.
